We’ve lived 31+ days into the year 2021 A.D. and landed in Black History month in Le Mois de l’amour. the month of Love aka February. You are thinking where has the time gone and what did you do over the last 31+ days. You probably watched Bridgerton; if not I highly recommend you give it a look. Set in the 19th Century, it is Barbara Cartland meets Harlequin romance. Spoiler alert, the Love interest – the pretty boy Duke is Black. Yes Bridgerton has influential, titled and rich black people in 1813 who are not slaves!!!
You are also probably wondering when you are going to get the opportunity to slide into that little black dress, or drape that sizzling body loving red number you bought in 2019 for the special event that never happened on your waiting bod. February 2021 is your year to create new Valentine’s Day memories, after all – you always have someone to love, who knows you in and out and will stick with you through thick and thin ..…Yourself of course. February 14th is now “Enter your Name” Day – this year it falls on a Sunday and if you are in most provinces in Canada the next day February 15 is a holiday so no excuses for not indulging in the self-loving you deserve.
