Camesha Cox
Founder and Executive Director, The Reading Partnership

Camesha Cox, M.Ed, is a multi-award-winning change agent, community connector and education-sector
trailblazer. She has over a decade of experience designing and delivering local and international school and
community-based literacy intervention programs and educational resources. In 2011, Camesha established The
Reading Partnership (TRP) – a Canadian registered charity that offers inclusive, interactive, and
evidence-informed literacy programming – with a bold vision that every child in every community has the
literacy skills and self-determination to impact their world positively.

Camesha is an Ontario-certified teacher with a B.Comm and B.Ed from University of Windsor; an M.Ed
from OISE, University of Toronto; a Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation from the University of
Waterloo; and a certificate in Executive Nonprofit Leadership from Stanford University’s Graduate School
of Business. Camesha’s work as a social changemaker has been recognized through an Ashoka Fellowship
and, most recently, as an inductee into the Scarborough Walk of Fame.
